3.0 Hardware Description

The hardware unit of the Tenor acquisition system is based on a USB DSP/FPGA

acquisition board. It also includes an ICP conditioning board. The metal box that contains

the USB acquisition board is equipped with 12 BNC connectors for 8 inputs and 4 outputs.

The internal switches on the conditioning board allow selecting the Direct DC, Direct AC or

ICP input paths. Each input and output has a LED to indicate saturation or a low-level

problem.
